Searching for Love in All the Wrong Places

Having spent most of my adult life searching for the perfect job, it occurred to me that, while there are innumerable advice columns for those seeking the perfect relationship, nobody offers much-needed guidance on the most demanding relationship in your life-your career! Occupational hazards will offer unbiased advice to help you solve your workplace problems, big and small. In case you're wondering about my qualifications, I have held more than 14 jobs so far, ranging from mailman to general counsel. I have worked in the private sector, the public sector, for non-profits, federal and state governments, law firms, a start-up company, a trade association and even for myself. I can confidently say that every workplace has its challenges, and in hindsight I could have used some advice! I freely give career advice, even when not asked, to my children, my siblings, my relatives, my friends and my friends' children, so I decided to make it official and add another occupation to the list. So, please ask away.....
